Need A Ride?
We would be pleased to give anyone on Madison's Westside or the Isthmus a ride to and from any of our Church Services or our Bible classes. For a ride, please call our church at 233-2985.

Grace is a small Lutheran congregation located in the center of the west side of Madison. We have been here since 1962. This family of Christians is unique among churches in several ways:

We are united with other such congregations nationwide in the Evangelical Lutheran Synod (formerly the Norwegian Synod, and in full fellowship with the Wisconsin Synod), and we contribute to the work of both domestic and foreign missionaries. Our synod owns and operates both Bethany Lutheran College and Bethany Lutheran Theological Seminary.

We invite you to join us for Bible study and worship. Children are also welcome in Sunday School and summertime Vacation Bible School. All of our activities are focused on the Gospel of Christ crucified, which alone can bring us into His kingdom of grace and keep us there.

Book Club

Grace now has a Book Club. We meet about once a month at the church to discuss part of a book related somehow to the Christian faith. It is open both to those who are members at Grace and those who are not.

There are several good Lutheran devotional books available. Laache's Book of Family Prayer is a companion volume to the Evangelical Lutheran Hymnary. One of the Lutheran church fathers from the 17th Century, Johann Gerhard is being rediscovered by many these days. There are several English versions available now of his powerful, scriptural, and confessional Sacred Meditations. You may find more devotional material via the links section of this web site.

There are a few links that just don't fit on this home page, but we'd like to make available anyway. Enjoy.
